Dave Tyree

Pastor Dave grew up in the Dallas, Texas area and went to Texas Tech in Lubbock for his undergraduate degree in History. While there he met his future wife, Becky. They married in 1980. Dave went to Dallas Theological Seminary and graduated with a ThM in Historical Theology in 1989. By that time Dave and Becky had four children. Their first-born, Danny was killed in an accident while Dave was in seminary, but Rachel, Nathan and Joel have grown to maturity and continue to enrich their parent's lives in many ways.

Dave's first church was a small rural church in Danforth township, Minnesota. Through God's grace the church saw significant growth while Dave, Becky and the kids were there. He was pastor of the church in Danforth for six years.

God called the Tyrees to the eastern plains of Colorado, where Dave ministered to the people of the Crook United Evangelical Free Church. While Dave and Becky's family grew up and graduated from high school, God also caused the church to prosper and grow. They ministered there for sixteen years, 1994-2010, until God called them to new kind of ministry in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.​
