Things to Consider: (Feel free to read Scripture passages that God brings to mind as you work through these questions)
  1. What about the sermon challenged, encouraged, or confused you? What, if anything, would you like further clarification on?
  2. How does the phrase “But for the grace of God, there go I” apply to this message?
  3. Recall and share a time when a fellow believer in Christ helped restore you when you had been overtaken by some transgression? Have you let that person know that you appreciated their grace toward you?
  4. Recall and share a time when you chose to give of yourself sacrificially to help restore a fellow believer? How did that experience impact your faith and the faith of the one you helped?
  5. What individual contribution to “the team” (i.e the church) has God equipped you to make? To what degree do your believe you are currently “pulling your weight” on the team? Is God calling you to take another step in doing so? If so, in what way?

As always, feel free to contact Charles if you have questions or concerns regarding the message; its content, meaning, or application to your life. The easiest way to do that is by submitting a Bridge Card at steamboatbiblechurch.com/bridgecard.
