Things to Consider: (Feel free to read Scripture passages that God brings to mind as you work through these questions)
  1. What about the sermon challenged, encouraged, or confused you? What, if anything, would you like further clarification on?
  2. Stand, stay alert, and persevere. What is the difference between them and what does it take to foster each?
  3. Which of the pieces of armor do you find the easiest to keep on and remain skillful at using and why do you suppose that is?
  4. Which of the pieces of armor do you find the hardest to keep on and remain skillful at using and why do you suppose that is?
  5. How dangerous is it to engage in spiritual warfare without being skillful (i.e. armored up, standing ground, staying alert, and persevering)?
  6. Is it even possible as a follower of Christ to not be in spiritual warfare? If not, then what does it mean if one seeks to not engage or be skillful in doing so?
  7. Where might we as a church improve at skillfully engaging in spiritual warfare?
