Things to Consider: (Feel free to read Scripture passages that God brings to mind as you work through these questions)
  1. What about the sermon challenged, encouraged, or confused you? What, if anything, would you like further clarification on?
  2. What is a subject (other than God/Jesus) that you are passionate about sharing with others? What is it that makes it worth sharing with others?
  3. In comparison to the subject you mentioned in the previous question, how passionate are you about sharing the message of reconciliation through Jesus? What is the cause of the disparity between the one passion and the other?
  4. On a scale of 1-10 (1 being not at all, 10 being extremely), how competent do you feel about being a minister of the gospel? What led you to answer as you did? What would it take to get you to a 10, if you are not already there?
  5. How present are you with the one in front of you? Is it easy or difficult to give them your full and undivided attention and why?
  6. How does being “present” with the one in front of you impact your ability to love them well?
  7. Is there anything else that hinders you from loving the one in front of you? If so, what?
