  • For next week’s message: Read and reflect on Ephesians 1:15-23.

Things to Consider: (Feel free to read Scripture passages that God brings to mind as you work through these questions)
  1. What about the sermon challenged, encouraged, or confused you? What, if anything, would you like further clarification on?
  2. Think/share of a time when something that was to your benefit was “hidden” from you for a time and how having it “unveiled” impacted you?
  3. How does the idea of our one day receiving our full inheritance of unified peace, prosperity, and perfection impact your having to deal with trouble, tears, and torment now?
  4. What does the peace of Christ mean for you in the midst of trouble? How have you experienced it and how does it help you endure that hardship, if at all?
  5. How do you suppose our peace with God becomes part of the process of God continuing to gradually bring His Kingdom on earth?
  6. What is our role as those redeemed by the blood of Christ in bringing praise to God’s glory? How have you been doing in fulfilling that role? How might you intentionally grow in that role?
  7. Read the “Main Idea” of the message. So what? What difference does that truth make in your life, right now? How might it make a bigger difference in your life?

As always, feel free to contact Charles if you have questions or concerns regarding the message; its content, meaning, or application to your life. The easiest way to do that is by submitting a Bridge Card at steamboatbiblechurch.com/bridgecard.
