Who we are

Here's the deal, Steamboat Bible Church cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ.  Steamboat Bible Church is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that same freedom. We have spent considerable time thinking about what sets us apart from the other churches in our area. We have some of the friendliest people in our church, but most churches can boast of friendly people.

What really sets us apart is that we are committed to teaching and preaching through books of the Bible, rather than preaching topically from the Bible. Not that we won't, from time to time, look at a topic from a biblical perspective, but primarily we preach through books of the Bible. Why, you might ask, is that important? Preaching and teaching through books of the Bible means that we cannot avoid difficult passages and difficult topics. We are committed to listening to what God has to say on every topic under the sun. We do this because we believe God's Word has the answer to all human problems.
