• Seeking to understand the will of Him
  • Ephesians 5:17 (ESV)
• Being filled with the Holy Spirit through our worship of Him
  • Ephesians 5:18-19 (ESV)
• Thanking the Father for everything in the name of Him
  • Ephesians 5:20 (ESV)
• Submitting to those in authority over us in reverence for Him.
  • Ephesians 5:21 (ESV) 
• For next week’s message: Read and reflect on Ephesians 5:22-33

1. What about the sermon challenged, encouraged, or confused you? What, if anything, would you like further clarification on?
2. How earnestly do you seek the Lord’s will for your daily life? Explain.
3. How often and in what manner do you worship Jesus? How would you respond if He were to appear to you right now and how does that differ from how you respond to Him in His physical absence and what is the cause of the disparity between the two responses?
4. What percentage of your prayers is petition versus thanksgiving and how would an increase in thanksgiving impact your life?
5. To whom does Christ ask us to submit and where in Scripture do you substantiate that?
6. What is it that leads to a hesitancy to submit to those in authority over you?​
7. Since Jesus walks daily with us through the presence of His Holy Spirit, how might you increase your mindfulness of His presence and how might that impact how you walk daily?
