Title: Stand Together or Fall Together

​Main Idea:  To be the victorious Body of Christ, we must utilize all the spiritual weapons God gave us.

• We are urged as a church to put on the full armor of God,
  • Ephesians 6:10-11a (ESV)
• So that we may be able to…
  • Resist all attacks of Satan and his demons…
    • Ephesians 6:11-12 (ESV)

  • And prevail as spiritually invincible in the end.
    • Ephesians 6:13 (ESV)

​Things to Consider: (Feel free to read Scripture passages that God brings to mind as you work through these questions)

1. What about the sermon challenged, encouraged, or confused you? What, if anything, would you like further clarification on?
2. When you get frustrated with the circumstances of the world, what percentage of the time is your frustration directed toward the physical world/people rather than the spiritual forces of evil?
3. How might you improve at addressing the real enemy, Satan, and loving those he has deceived?
4. What is your current posture toward the idea of demonization being prevalent, even toward you (e.g. “ignorance is bliss,” “I don’t want to think about it,” “It scares me,” “I want to know more,” “Let me at ‘em!”, etc.)?
5. Where do you see/experience spiritual attacks going on in our community and what leads you to believe they are spiritual in nature?
6. How well do you personally put on the armor of God? Explain.
7. How well do we as a church put on the armor of God? Explain.
8. If putting on the armor of God is necessary to resisting the attacks of the enemy and prevailing in the end, given our current state as a church, what is the likelihood that we as a church will resist and prevail as evil ramps up, and what is your rationale?
9. What do you believe God is calling us to do as a church to raise the bar in relation to putting on the armor of God?
