  • Introduction
    • Ephesians 2;10 (ESV)
  • If we want to walk in the works that God has prepared in advance for us to do, we must always keep in the forefront of our minds that we were once far away from God and each other…
    • Ephesians 2:11-12 (ESV)
  • But He brought us near in Christ, the Peacemaker…
    • Ephesians 2:13-16 (ESV)
    • Matthew 5:17 (ESV)
    • Ephesians 2:10, 2:14, and 2:15 (ESV)
  • Who earned us peace with each other and with God.
    • Ephesians 2:17-18 (ESV)
    • John 4:19-24 (ESV)
    • Luke 7:47-50 (ESV)
    • Matthew 5:9 (ESV)

  • For next week’s message: Read and reflect on Ephesians 2:19–22.
Things to Consider: (Feel free to read Scripture passages that God brings to mind as you work through these questions)
  1. What about the sermon challenged, encouraged, or confused you? What, if anything, would you like further clarification on?
  2. What does it mean to have peace (shalom) with God and with fellow believers in Christ?
  3. How do you suppose God would want peace with fellow believers to impact how we treat differences between ourselves?
  4. In what ways do we hinder peace between us and our fellow believers?
  5. Knowing that Jesus is the Peacemaker and we, as His Body, are fellow peacemakers, how do you suppose Jesus wants us to make peace in an un-peaceful world?
