Things to Consider: (Feel free to read Scripture passages that God brings to mind as you work through these questions)
  1. What about the sermon challenged, encouraged, or confused you? What, if anything, would you like further clarification on?
  2. How do you think revering Christ looks in one’s life?
  3. How well do you believe your reverence for Christ in your household relationships (marriage, parenting, business) reflects Christ, and what leads you to answer the way you did?
  4. Where does the idea of submission to any earthy authority rub you negatively and what about it does so?
  5. How do you think the world, in general, views Christ, based on what it sees in Christian marriages? Explain your answer.
  6. From what you’ve observed in your own or other Christian marriages, how can wives improve at respectfully submitting to their husbands?
  7. From what you’ve observed in your own or other Christian marriages, how can husbands improve at lovingly leading their wives?
